National External Review

National external review is carried out by Iraq's Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research through its quality assurance and accreditation bodies. Reviewers examine the evidence behind the university's Bologna Process implementation, including programme specifications, module descriptions, the annual quality assurance report and the self-assessment report, and judge it against the national standards and the ministry's Bologna instruments. Their findings feed the university's improvement plan.

    Evaluation of Bologna Process Implementation

    Reviewing body
    Prof. Ekin Burak Arikan
    Scope
    University programs

Al-Hadba University deserves recognition for the quality of its team and its understanding of the Bologna Process. Dr Salah Yahya’s experienced guidance, together with the advantages of a smaller and agile institution, supports a coherent approach. The evaluator regards certain aspects of its quality assurance thinking as among the stronger examples encountered in the Iraqi higher-education context. The direction for further development is to consolidate these strengths through shared expertise, proportionate review and visible follow-up on academic decisions. This offers a credible path towards a sustained quality culture in which Bologna structures contribute directly to the improvement of student learning.
